Each infiltration well measures 40 centimeters long and 50 centimeters wide, and is connected to each other using four-inch PVC pipes to smooth water flow.

The work, which began on April 20, 2026, is targeted to be completed next week.

"Hopefully the construction of this channel will be able to overcome water runoff and reduce flooding in residential areas," he hoped.

Meanwhile, Head of RW 02, Panggang Island Urban Village, Abdul Ghoni stated these water channels and infiltration wells not only need to be built, but also maintained sustainably.

"We hope that this facility can be maintained together, so that it functions optimally and provides protection from flooding for residents," he emphasized.
